HOW DO I REGISTER? |
Once dates are announced, you can register directly on our website by clicking here. |
IS THERE A DIFFERENCE IN THE WEEKS OF CAMPS? |
Most of our day camps have the same format, but each week has it’s own feel to it with different faces among the campers and staff. Many campers come for multiple weeks and take advantage of the multi-camp discount. |
WHAT SHOULD MY CHILD BRING TO CAMP? |
Your child should wear comfortable basketball or tennis shoes and sports attire. If you choose not to purchase lunch through CNU catering, send your child with lunch. We will provide Gatorade, water, and cups throughout the camp. Please do not bring your own basketball. We will have plenty and don’t want campers to lose their personal ball. |
CAN MY CHILD CARPOOL TO CAMP WITH ANOTHER FAMILY? |
We ask that each child under 14 have a family member present during registration. Each day after that, children will check in on their own as they enter the Freeman Center. |
HOW DO I PICK UP MY CAMPER AT THE END OF THE DAY? |
All campers in the G-League (8 and under), must be picked up in-person by a parent or guardian. If special arrangements need to be made, please contact us directly prior to camp at captainsbasketballcamp@yahoo.com. All other campers will be dismissed promptly at 3pm. |
CAN I DROP MY CHILD OFF EARLY OR LET HIM STAY AFTER CAMP? |
Doors to the fieldhouse will open at 8:30am and we ask that all campers be picked up by 3:15pm. |
CAN I WATCH MY CHILD PLAY DURING CAMP? |
YES! All parents are welcome to stay and watch their child play during camp. We will have a professional photographer take pictures during camp. We ask that parents refrain from taking pictures and video during camp. |
WILL THERE BE AN AWARDS CEREMONY OR CHAMPIONSHIP GAMES? |
Yes. On the last day of camp (Thursdays), we will begin playoff games after lunch, usually from 1:30pm until 2:45pm. These will include Free Throws, 1on1, 3on3, and 5on5. We will have a brief awards ceremony at 2:45pm with dismissal at 3pm. |
